Kyle, Cory, and I went down to Earth Day to check things out. I bought a Zombie Mouse from the Mid-Missouri Knitting Guild, a new cutting board, and 3 Rasta Lemonades.
We ran into Joey playing with a leaf boat in Flat Branch Creek.
Here's a view from Peace Park.
Zombie Mouse is well loved.
And I really need to start composting. Happy Earth Day!
Aunt Sally and Uncle Allen gave us the best wedding gift! They volunteered to help complete the wood stove project that I started back in 2005.
They helped me pick out river rocks, they cut out the hearth so that they would fit, put them down, and just came back this weekend to grout and seal them.
I'll work on gathering up some before and after pictures soon. It looks really great!
After a couple of birthday drinks with our friend Nick at Klick's, we stopped by The Bridge. There was a rumor going around that Bockman was having a little reunion show. We saw some friends and it was a nice little bit of nostalgia.
It reminded me of the first time I saw Bockman's Euphio at the Euphio Campout in 2006. Here's the show that they played. I listen to it on occasion and get excited about summer time.
